Q How much does it cost?

A For a limited time we are charging only $50 a month. That's a 50% savings off our regular price. If you sign up at the discounted $50 rate the price will not increase as long as you continue service without interruption.

Q Do you offer a Satisfaction Guaranteed?

A Yes, we offer a 30 day "no questions asked" 100% money back Satisfaction Guaranteed.

Q Is there a long term contract or "set-up" fees.

A No. There is no contract or set-up fees. Payment is made through PayPal only on a "monthly subscription" basis i.e. you can not pay for multiple months in advance. You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time by simply logging into your PayPal account and canceling the subscription yourself.

The last thing you need is more competition.

Q Do you offer exclusive areas?

A YES WE DO! We realize that you are in competition with hundreds of other Agents in your area and the last thing you need is more competition. We could increase our income substantially if we had multiple affiliates in any given area. But, we decided to put your needs ahead of our greed and do what's right. So, we decided to offer exclusive areas to our affiliates.

This benefit is exclusive to FSBO Prospector. Other companies that offer similar services sign up as many Agents as they can in a given area and force you to compete with them. If you aren't the first Agent using their service to contact a FSBO it's "tough luck" and you loose out. For a system to be reliable and consistent it MUST be exclusive to one Agent!

Q How big can my exclusive area be?

A Our service is divided up by counties. We can create an affiliate account that includes the counties you are personally working in right now and are willing to service. Accounts are set up for individual agents in one metropolitan area. As an Affiliate you must consider the distance you are willing to drive to meet face-to-face with a FSBO seller.

Q How can I start to build a relationship with the FSBO seller and keep my name in front of them?

A We suggest that you give the FSBO seller a folder containing all of the contracts and forms they will need in order to sell their home PLUS offer to sit down with them and explain the paperwork in detail. This is an area where most FSBO sellers know absolutely nothing, are confused or even a little scared.

By sitting down at their kitchen table and explaining the paperwork to them you are starting to building a relationship and at the same time showing them how experienced you are. Attach your business card to the folder and include any articles you have about the pitfalls of selling FSBO etc. The FSBO sellers will keep the folder in case they find a buyer. When they finally decide to hire an agent they will still have the folder with your business card attached to remember you by.

Q How many FSBO sellers will actually want me to take pictures of their home?

A It's a fact that listings with pictures are viewed more often and sellers understand this. With this in mind, you would be surprised at how many sellers either don't take the time or don't have the technical knowledge to add pictures to their FSBO listing.

Our program allows you to offer this free service to the seller which will get you in the door. You can even use your cell phone if it has a built in camera. In a situation where the seller is tech savvy and wants to upload pictures themselves, you can always offer them a sign rider or free comp or any other FREE service that will allow you to meet them.

Q What do I do if I call the FSBO seller at a bad time and they are too busy?

A Simply give them the domain name "www.SeeMyListing.com", tell them it's worth hundreds of dollars of free advertising and invite them to place their own free listing. Very few FSBO sellers can resist the offer so most of them will place a free listing.

Q What do I do if the seller is not home when I call?

A This is what makes or system so easy because many FSBO sellers will not be home during the work day. You simply leave them the message below. Very few FSBO sellers can resist the offer so most of them will place a free listing.

Q Can FSBO sellers create their own listing online at SeeMyListing.com?

A Absolutely, and many will especially if you offer free sign riders promoting SeeMyListing.com. When a seller creates their own listing it actually saves you time and you still get to call them to offer a free service. Or, they may call you first.

Q Can I mail the FSBO seller a Post Card or Flyer inviting them to place a free listing on SeeMyListing.com?

A Yes. If you tell the seller about our free advertising service they can't resist the offer so most of them will place a free listing.

Q Where do you advertise for the FSBO seller?

A This is what makes our service so unique and valuable to the FSBO seller. We bid on hundreds of different “search phrases" with Microsoft adCenter, Google AdWords and Yahoo Search Marketing. The search phrase “FSBO ads" on Yahoo for example will display our advertisement below on the first web page. Our advertisements will show up under the "sponsor results" section every time someone searches for a phrase we have bid on. Whether or not our advertisement is displayed on the first, second or third page etc. depends on how much we are willing to pay for each search phrase in relation to other bidders. What's important though is that the FSBO seller doesn't care about the dynamics of "sponsored pay-per-click" advertising. All they care about is that we provide them with hundreds of dollars worth of FREE ADVERTISING.

Q How long can a FSBO seller keep their listing on SeeMyListing.com?

A. Until they either sell the property, take it off the market or contract with you to sell it for them. SeeMyListing.com is a "For Sale By Owner" website and we won't allow Realtor listings or listings where the seller has a Realtor working for them.

The only exception is when a FSBO seller has a "Flat Rate MLS" listing that allows the seller to find a buyer themselves and not pay the Realtor a commission. In this case the seller still has the option to sell their property "By Owner".

Q Why am I an "Affiliate" of SeeMyListing.com?

A Introducing yourself as an "Affiliate" of SeeMyListing.com and offering free advertising won't be alarming when you call and talk to FSBO sellers. The words "free advertising" will get their attention and the typical "red flags" won't go up, compared to saying you are a Realtor and want to list their home. We could have used the title SeeMyListing.com "Sponsor" but decided on Affiliate instead. It also sounds a lot better than saying you're a "Client" of SeeMyListing.com etc.

Q Do you provide the call capture number for Talking Yard Signs?

A No. Our clients usually already have a call capture number provider.

Q Do you sell the "Talking Yard Signs"?

A No. We will provide the artwork for you but we allow you to find the lowest cost sign supplier and purchase the signs yourself.

Q Do you sell the sign riders?

A No. We will provide the artwork for you but we allow you to find the lowest cost sign supplier and purchase the signs yourself. Corrugated plastic 9" x 24" sign riders are very inexpensive and can be used over and over again. Just apply the Listing # with an erasable whiteboard marker. It will not come off in the rain and can be removed with whiteboard cleaner.

Q I noticed that you have banner advertisements on SeeMyListing.com. Will your banners show up on listings in my county?

A No. Once you become an affiliate our banners are removed and you will control which banners are displayed in your county. You can display up to 6 banners. We will even create them for you without charge as part of the service.

Q What if I need help?

A You can contact support by phone or email. But honestly, our database driven website is so easy to use we rarely have an affiliate contact us for help. Everything is "point-and-click" with complete instructions.

Q How long have you been in business?

A The SeeMyListing.com website was originally launched in 2005 as a "call capture mortgage lead system" for mortgage brokers using the "Talking Yard Sign". In 2008 we added the "Sign Rider" service and launched the FSBO Prospector system for Realtors.

Q Will I be breaking the National "Do Not Call Laws" by offering free advertising to FSBO sellers?

A We do not offer legal advice and suggest you seek out your own. But with that said, the prevailing opinion in the industry today is that as long as you refrain from trying to sell or market anything i.e. telemarketing, and only offer free services when you call a FSBO seller, you will not be in violation of the National DNC laws.

You should stick to the theme that SeeMyListing.com is an "Introduction Service" that offers free advertising to FSBO sellers. Become their friend first, keep in touch and help them. Everything else will fall into place as the seller becomes frustrated with the "For Sale By Owner" experience and turns to you for help.
